Various additives and processing aids used for plastic molding, as well as other materials used in secondary processing, have their own safety requirements, so they must be understood separately.
When using this product under normal conditions, there are no special problems with inhalation, eye contact, or skin contact. However, caution must still be exercised when handling, storing, using, or disposing of these resins. The workplace should be kept clean to avoid dust accumulation. During processing operations, it is advisable to avoid contact with molten resin as much as possible.
Plastic resin products may generate dust and gases during the manufacturing process. The dust generated during sawing, filing, polishing and other operations on injection molded parts may irritate the eyes and upper respiratory tract. In dusty production environments, it is recommended that operators use respirators or masks approved by relevant departments.
According to the correct operating procedures, the plastic processing area should have good ventilation. When plastic exceeds the melting temperature during processing, it will release more or less smoke containing decomposition substances, which may be irritating. In most cases, good ventilation equipment is generally sufficient. When necessary, local exhaust ventilation methods should be used.
If flying particles come into contact with the eyes during work and cause harm, chemical protective goggles should be worn. When handling this resin, if necessary, insulated gloves can be worn for protection.
Generally speaking, plastic resin products may experience yellowing under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, so direct sunlight should be avoided when storing products.
